Itinerary
Day 1: Origin – Figueres – Albanyà
Arrival at Sant Ferran’s Castle, which is considered the largest bastioned fortress in Europe and declared a Site of Cultural Interest, listed as a historical-artistic monument. Here we will enjoy a very special visit to the "Water’s Cathedral". It is an active visit in which a guided tour of the moat is carried out on 4x4 vehicles. The tour includes a visit to the underground countermine’s galleries and navigation on board inflatable boats (the activity is not indicated for people suffering from claustrophobia). Next, we will go to the hotel for the check-in. Lunch. In the afternoon, time-off in Figueres. At the indicated time, we will leave for Albanyà for an informal dinner. We recommend stopping for a short tour at one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Catalonia: "Sant Llorenç de la Muga". After dinner we will exerience an "astronomical christening at night". Here we can enjoy a unique sensory experience. Fortified town that today retains all its protection, after the experience, the projection of live images captured by the telescope will be combined with audiovisual content on astronomy. Once finished, return to the hotel in Figueres for accommodation.
Day 2: Figueres – Origin
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Next, we will walk to the center of Figueres for a visit with audio guides at the Toy Museum of Catalonia. When crossing the entrance, we will be ready to start an adventure full of surprises and good humor. Now you can discover which was the most loved toy by Salvador Dalí.
